I found Thing Eleven on mentoring an interesting read, as it's not something of which I've has any real experience.
As I plan to go through chartership over the next couple of years, I'll be able to get some experience of having a mentor, and of the potential benefits it can bring. Certainly, I will have a long hard think about who to ask - as the CPD blog has made me realise how important the choice is. I had also not quite realised the qualities that a mentee should possess, nor the effort that one should make in that role.
